What's behind every job
Our production network covers five capabilities, used in whatever combination your job needs. Here's the full list, in plain English:
Data management
Everything that makes a mail-out land instead of bounce:
- Mailing-list design, maintenance, formatting and conversion; send us any export and we'll work with it
- De-duplication, so one household gets one letter, not three
- Clean-up and reformatting of messy or merged lists
- Address validation against Australia Post's own address database
- Change-of-address (NCOA) updates for lists that have aged; vital for alumni mail
- Barcode allocation and pre-sorting for automated mail processing
- Data entry from paper enrolment forms, surveys, reply cards and raffle entries
- Mailing-list rental if you need to reach new households in your catchment
Printing
Personalised or generic, colour or black-and-white, one copy per student or thousands per campaign:
- Personalised (variable-data) printing; every piece unique to its recipient
- Letters, flyers, brochures and postcards
- Catalogues, magazines, books and booklets
- Posters and large format
- Letterheads, with-compliments slips and stationery
- Envelope and label supply and printing, plus inkjet addressing straight onto envelopes and postcards
- Black-and-white and colour copying for short-notice runs
- Bespoke items such as fundraising scratch cards, calendars, campus maps, wrapping paper and other one-offs
Mail processing
The step between printing and posting, done by machine, not by your staffroom:
- Intelligent inserting; barcode-scanned matching so a student's report and its matching cover letter always land in the same envelope
- High-speed mechanical folding and inserting for large runs
- Hand assembly for delicate or odd-shaped items
- Plastic wrapping for magazines and multi-piece mailings; compostable wrapper available
- Tabbing and sealing for self-mailers
- Collating in exact page or insert order
Pack assembly
Finished packs, ready to hand out or mail:
- Enrolment, orientation and information packs
- Open-day show bags and presentation packs and folders
- Alumni, membership, training and sample packs
- Collated, quality-checked and boxed by destination

Why EduPress
Deadlines met, every detail handled
Education is all we do
Schools, universities, TAFEs and colleges; we speak school terms, census dates and presentation nights, not print jargon.
One point of contact
One person owns your job from quote to letterbox. No juggling a printer, a mail house and a courier.
Guaranteed dates, in writing
Your quote includes the delivery date, worked backwards from your deadline. If a date can't be met, we say so up front.
Bulk postage savings, passed on
Mail-outs are lodged in bulk with Australia Post at discounted rates, and the discount lands on your invoice, not ours.
Common questions
What happens after I submit the quote form?
A real person reads it, prices it, and replies within one business day with a firm AUD price and a guaranteed delivery date. If anything's unclear we'll call or email first; no quote is guessed.
Is the quote binding?
The price and date in your quote are held once you accept. If your quantities change before printing, we re-quote transparently; the price never quietly moves.
Do I get a proof before my job goes to print?
Always; one proof, before anything runs. For most jobs it's a print-accurate digital proof; for jobs like yearbooks you can have a physical printed copy. The proof confirms content, layout, personalisation and colour before the full run, which is what keeps errors and reprints at zero. Nothing prints until you approve it in writing.
How do you guarantee delivery dates?
Every schedule is built backwards from your deadline with buffer included, and we only commit to dates our production network can hold. If a deadline genuinely can't be met, we tell you at quote stage.
How is postage charged on mail-outs?
At the discounted bulk rate we secure from Australia Post, shown as its own transparent line on your quote. The discount is passed on to you.
What if I don't know my exact quantities yet?
Give a range; we'll quote the likely brackets so you can see how the price moves, and lock the final number just before print.
